Prostate cancer cell lines aren't gonna be stellar with generic reagents, so we like to use this one (https://altogen.com/product/lncap-transfection-reagent-prostate-carcinoma/) when we do gene silencing experiments with siRNA transfection. We've gotten 80% efficiency, but it's likely to be lower if you're transfecting longer nucleic acid sequences.

You can try Dharmafect transfection reagent that has been successful in LNCaP at least for my assays.

GenJet™ In Vitro DNA Tranfection Reagent for LNCaP Cells from SignaGen laboratories works well.
