The adopted study model deals with smartphone features and their impact on individuals for the purposes of their use. Tam theory has been adopted and more needs to be done to obtain additional support for the study model. Any suggestions from you about theories dealing with technology and usage?
An alternative model to TAM, called the hedonic-motivation system adoption model (HMSAM) was proposed by Lowry et al. (Lowry et al. 2013). HMSAM is designed to improve the understanding of hedonic-motivation systems (HMS) adoption. HMS are systems used primarily to fulfill users' intrinsic motivations, such for online gaming, virtual worlds, online shopping, learning/education, online dating, digital music repositories, social networking, only pornography, gamified systems, and for general gamification. Instead of a minor TAM extension, HMSAM is an HMS-specific system acceptance model based on an alternative theoretical perspective, which is in turn grounded in flow-based cognitive absorption (CA). HMSAM may be especially useful in understanding gamification elements of systems use.
In addition to the suggestion of Mohd Azhar: If you are looking at technology acceptance it is important whether you want to measure actual use and/or intention to use. The Unified Theory of acceptance as a TAM succesor might help you out here.

Perhaps it is worth additionally using Google Trends analytics for selected keywords relating to the issues related to the determinants of the use of smartphones in the use of specific Internet information services.
