PCB is poly chlorinated biphenyl and you can detect it and measure it with GC/MS.

but heavy metals you can measure it using AAS.

Please make your query clearly. It's apparently meaningless! What do you want to mean by "how to collateral it for."? What you want to say by "to assessment the sediment of heavy metal"? Possibly, you want to assess heavy metals in sediment and their toxicological aspects! Like Philipp my suggestion is- please rephrase the question clearly so that you can get expected feedback.
