we all have our own thought and experience regarding yoga and meditation, we all know it's a miracle unexplainable to those who do he/she feel it.What's your view regarding it.
Yoga ( योग ) in a broad sense means a set of various spiritual, mental and physical practices developed in different directions of Hinduism and Buddhism and aimed at controlling the mental and physiological functions of the body in order to achieve an individual's elevated spiritual and mental state.
"Meditation" means "union with God." The word "yoga" also means "union with God", when an individual spirit soul unites with the Supreme Soul, completely focuses on God - her mind, body, heart, her entire being are given to God without a trace.
When one reaches the perfection called trance or samadhi, his mind, engaged in yoga, is completely withdrawn from material activities. Thanks to the purity of the mind, such a yogi acquires the ability to see his true self, and it becomes for him a source of joy and happiness. In this joyful state, he experiences unlimited spiritual bliss, enjoying transcendental senses. Having established himself at this level, a person never deviates from the truth and, having reached this state, realizes that nothing more can be achieved. He is never troubled, even in the face of the greatest calamities. This is true freedom from the suffering arising from contact with the material world.
I don’t know if you ask about yoga as scientific rules that concerned people teach, or the yoga for every person that is reached after special and personal efforts without studying the rules ... etc .. in general every person in us makes an effort to adapt his brain, liberate from worldly restrictions and reach a relative mental clarity Restore his balance and get out of the stress of this tiring life
For yoga & Meditation some years back I have expressed my views which I submit herewith for your perusal
Yoga our creator has given & offer us everything thru our physical body right from head to the leg for the every movement for our life. Every body part is important & essential to carry out the action of our life but the more important is that every body function may help us to realize the essence of our divinity within every of us.
We can realize & achieve thru medium of our Yoga practice .Yoga practice is for our spiritual mission of our life. It helps us thru our mind & brain for controlling the energy & effective force of our brain.
Besides with the help of Yoga we can control our other physical structure of body but with our brain thru center force of our forehead giving the inspiring grace in the form of intuition & with the regular practice of Yoga ,our eyes may help us to visualize the cosmic atmosphere.
In the line with the above ,Meditation may turn out to the blessing in the form of concentration ,peace ,tranquility in the process of meditation this may help us to process the progressive path of our life under the calmness in our working environment & to make us all the pleasurable ,peace with our family & social fabrics .
In meditation based activities such as yoga and tai chi, the goal is to reach a state in which the person consciously and voluntarily silences his mind by ignoring the stimuli around him/her, which results in relaxation. Meditation based activities by reducing the activity of the sympathetic nervous system and releasing the neurotransmitters such as endorphin and serotonin reduces stress. On the other hand, these activities creates coherence and symmetry in areas of the brain by increasing alpha waves and decreasing beta and gamma waves in the frontal lobe of the brain, as well as by increasing the relationship between alpha waves in the right and left hemispheres and the anterior and posterior parts of the brain which are responsible for self-awareness, attention, semantic processing, memory, learning and mental health.
