Hello Naser,

It is always better to use Pet-ether or n-Hexane and even di-ethyl ether also are useful remove oil from the extract.

It is always better to de-fat to remove oil from the herbs and/or of raw plant materials which are proceeding for extraction.

You can use Hexane or Pet. Ether or Diethyl Ether in a liquid-liquid or liquid-solid extraction.

n-hexane is better option!!!

For oil (essential oil) I will utilize a solvent with a boiling point between 60-70C, like n-hexane or pet ether. A mix of chloroform-methanol can be effective as well depending on your extract.
