I am currently working with a study to determine which socio-demographic factors affect the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of students towards blood donations. Knowledge is measured by a test, attitudes measured by a scale, and practices determined by a dichotomous question (yes or no). With this, what statistical analysis should I use to establish the significance of the factors?
As you study is based on causal relationship research design therefore you need to use regression analysis. Kind of regression model depends on the type of the data you have for outcome variable i.e., dependent variable. If it's on continous scale, go for linear regression. If it's dichotomous or categorical, use logistic regression or multinomial regression respectively.
They are usually based on the contingency tables and chi-square tests.
