I am trying to find if there is an association between independent variables ( (i)power and authority, (II) interest and incentives and (III)ideas and values, of the actors) and dependent variables (decision on the amount of distribution of climate fund).
For each independent variables I have asked several questions and got answers in Licart-scale. and for dependent variable too.
Does anyone know what kind of statistical analysis I should use in order to determine whether there is an association or not?

If you have more questions (items) under one independent variable, and also more questions (items) in the dependent variable, Structural Equation Modelling using SmartPLS or AMOS or STATA is the best solutions I think.
In this analysis, you can test factor loading, cross loading, data reliability, factor reliability, composite reliability, T-test, P values etc, and also some descriptive analysis at a time. you can also find the R square and regression coefficient.

thank you so much. I have tried with Amos as I have items under each latent variable (both dependent and independent). However I am not finding previous studies that have seen these independent variables as mentioned above using SEM.
