I want to know whether the difference in the relative abundance of species was affected by the sex, age, or even reproductive status of the female. Because it is admissible to transform abundance data to make the distribution normal, I was wondering which is the best test to compare those variables. (I would also know, should I have to make sure the differences between female and male individuals between species before I analyze whether reproductive status of the female correlate to the relative abundance?)
