Please don't tell me how you need a Master's because an undergrad is nothing these days. There are some very strong undergrads who have a greater familiarity with a lab setting than many Master's students.

What would you say a good, fundamental basic background should the undegrad possess? For example, a mastery of Native Gels, SDS, HPLC, cloning, etc.

What would be a complete, strong, undergraduate biochemistry skill set??
