I am doing an experiment on analyzing the effect of my formulated liquid fertilizer on the growth of Chaetomorpha linum. I decided to have 3 replicates on my 6 treatments (4 Experimental levels of Liquid fertilizer and 2 controls for the positive and negative). My problem is after 4 weeks. Only 1 of the replicates in Treatment 2 survived and 2 of the replicates in Treatment 3 also survived. Treatment 1 after 3 weeks have not all been survived.
You can consider increasing the experimental units for each treatments so even if some dies, you will still have some results to use. You can not use only one replicate for your analysis.
Yes I'm considering that. But maybe i can do analysis for the 1st 3 weeks of the study and disregard the treatments 1-3 for the succeeding weeks? and report the other replicates dies and are not substantial for analysis. What do you think?
