Computer science is one of the disciplines characterised by rapid development related to both hardware and software. The contemporary university-level educational programmes should at least follow this in order to fulfil the requirements of information-oriented society and needs of potential employers of graduates.
Therefore, the contents of Computer Science course within the modern Textile Engineering/Textile Design study programme should change and adapt accordingly. I am interested in different opinions related to this matter.

Thanks for your answer.
I agree with your opinion. We have added to our study programmes some other subjects, such as e-Business and Multimedia in Textiles and Computer-Based Simulation of Textile Forms. At the post-graduate studies we also have a course on Presentation Techniques and Virtual Catalogues.

Application: Critical path analysis, linear programming, accounting, forecastion etc use of available textile related software(ERP, Garber, Lectra, PLC, FSD, etc)
