What should be next BEST step after a paper gets accepted with MAJOR REVISIONS in a well-reputed journal?

Please share your recommendations and suggestions on what should be done after a research article gets accepted with major revisions.

Dear Irfan,

Good journals even do not allow to circulate the final proof before publication. So in my opinion you will have to wait patiently till it gets published. In the mean time you can pursue after another manuscript will all the experience you have gathered.
