If the mortality percentage in the control exceeds 25%, you must repeated the experiment

If the mortality percentage is less than 25%, Abbott`s formula (1925), is used to correct the mortality percentage

Corrected mortality percentage = (mortality percentage in treatment / mortality percentage in control) / mortality percentage in control×100

• But the theoretical basis for the experiment had some error
• You can extract by any solvent (depending on the type of plant and compounds to be extracted)
• The solvent is then vaporized completely to dry
• Then dissolve the crude extract either in water or ethyl alcohol with the desired concentration...

You can use the cited solvents for extraction then they can be vaporised.

The obtained extract can be dissolved again in water or ethyl alcohol. It depends on what you plan to test and the solubility of your extracts.
