Inclusion Criteria: The criteria for including studies in the review also influence the timeframe. Broader inclusion criteria that aim to capture a wide array of studies over an extended period would naturally extend the review period. Narrower criteria focused on specific, recent developments or technologies might necessitate a shorter review period to ensure relevance and recency.
Research Field: The characteristics of the research field play a crucial role.In rapidly evolving fields, newer studies often provide the most relevant insights, supporting a shorter review period.In more stable fields, important insights might span several decades, justifying a longer review period.
