What scale is best to measure/assess SUICIDAL IDEATION or SUICIDAL RISK for youth in universities? Especially to compare among religions to see whether people with different religions have different suicidality?
Is your research qualitative or quantitative? In my unpublished paper on suicidal ideation among sub-Saharan African women with HIV, I did not use any scale. My research was qualitative. Thus, I simply recorded the number of participants who reported having suicidal ideation since diagnosed HIV posiitve.
You might try using SAD PERSONS scale to assess the suicidal risk, however I am not sure about its applicability for your area of study. It is quantifiable though, so it might be of use.
