There are certain complications that return to normal functions after oral contraception termination. e.g. hypertension developed in almost all women due to oral contraception returns to normal level after oral contraception termination. However, the complications and contraindications influence the health status. What do you think what procedures and precautions can help minimizing the possible risks.
The World Health Organization (WHO) convened a series of technical consultations between 13 and 16 May 2013 in order to plan the updates of both the MEC and SPR. As part of the process for updating these guidelines, WHO will be considering the evidence related to VTE risk associated with oral contraceptive formulations with various progestogens. Once this process has been completed, WHO will be in a position to provide global guidance on this issue.

The idea behind the oral contraceptives is that their use is less harmful to a woman than a pregnancy. Although a physiological event, pregnancy may pose a women to many risks, some of which are hypertensive disorders, diabetes, hypercoagulative states, and some unfortunate life threathening conditions such as placenta previa, placental ablation etc.
Newer oral contraceptives with decreased estrogen and better progestogen properties are considered to be with little side effects in a previously normal women.
Cigarette smoking is one of the most dangerous behaviours that a women using oral contraception should avoid. Since this is known to cause genital cancers and others in human beings, and especially in women using oral contraceptives.
