My soil data shows consistent lower pH values during the colder seasons (winter) eg 4.7 as compared to the warmer seasons with rainfall (summer autumn) eg 5.4. I have read alot of literature starting lower pH values (more acidic) during summer because of more organic acid formation by increased microbial activity due to increased temperature.

Does the decreased mositure during winter season decrease soil phd ( more acidic) by means of decreased soil dilution? Or is it because of some other reason? Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.
