1) Haematology- for pioneering blood transfusion that saves countless lives, developing treatments that potentially cure a number of blood cancers, dramatically changing the lives of millions of people with various inherited blood diseases like hemophilia, thalassaemia and sickle cell disease.

2) Oncology

3) Pathology (Microbiology, Histopathology, Chemical Pathology, Immunology...)

4) Public Health

5) Anaesthesiology

6) Molecular Biology and recombinant DNA technology

7) Several others
