What may be the reason of getting multiple peaks when observing the UV-Vis spectrum of AgNPs?

According to my understanding after consulting literature, AgNPs peaks are usually observed within the range 400-500nm. Also, I am used to the fact that there's usually that one peak around 400nm's. What can be the cause? Is this a disadvantage or would it have any effect?
