I am validating an experimental test results of CFRP(carbon fiber reinforced polymer) wrapped plain concrete column of 200 *200*600 mm size of 25.4Mpa average compressive strength in Abaqus 6.14-2. the CFRP lamina have 0.167mm thickness and 240Gpa Elastic modulus and 4340Mpa ultimate tensile strength. But the problem is, especially stress results are very high.
I have used tie constraint b/n the CFRP shell and the Concrete column. Displacement control was used.
My Abaqus simulation is attached below
It seems that assigned max value of axial displacement 6.84 is too large for the column with length 300.

Generally, high elastic modulus and high strength of FRP results in high confining pressure
The confined strength is approximately related to the confining pressure as
fcc = fco + 4.1 f_conf
where fco is unconfined concrete strength and f_conf is the confining pressure
f_conf = 2*fy*t/b = 2* 4340 *0.167mm/200mm=7.2478
so I expect axial strength could reach
fco + 4.1 f_conf = 25.4 +7.25*4.1 =55 Mpa
