What major classes of organic substances are readily dissolved in ethyl acetate?

Hi Arizaldo,

ethy acetate is miscible with e.g ethanol, acetone, diethyl ether, and benzene. Since polarity of substances do change quite strongly within a certain class of organic substance (e.g MeOH vs. hexanol) it is difficult to make a clear statement whether a certain class of organic substances is miscible with substance X. I hope this answers your question.
