I am looking for cultures that I can use for cultivating Extremophiles. Is there any website or a catalogue available for cultivation of Extremophiles? I need specific information or any research/review paper on cultivation methods of Extremophiles. Please also enlist what are basic culture conditions and lab environment that I can work upon Extremophiles.
There is no single set of conditions, different species may have different requirements. So if you know which organisms you want, then you can do a literature search to determine how to grow it.
I do not understand! Mesophiles are always around you. Psychrophiles are not very far away. You can start from your freezer or even the refrigerator. Thermoacidophiles are a combination of high temperatures and low pH which can also be achieved by simple laboratory manipulations. Everything is within reach. Like other researchers advised, do a very simple literature search, please.
