I want to bind graphite powder with stainless steel material ? What kind of binder can I use? And I want to make it dry, at what temperature can I heat it to bind graphite powder on stainless steel?
It is not clear what you want to do. If you just want to make graphite stick to steel, you can simply use an adhesive such as epoxy. If you want to have electrical contact, you can use silver paint. Both can be dried at room temperature. But if the result has to be submitted to high temperatures, then other kinds of glue will be required.
So there is silver paint indeed, which is the most electrically conductive, but there is also Aquadag colloidal graphite (a bit less conducting) for doing the same.
You have to try with different materials. First you make a paste of epoxy with fine grade graphite then put it on steel and dry it in air. After drying bake it at 300-400 degree. This will help you graphite to adhere.
In case it does not work then try with other adhesive.
