As I am not a native English speaker, normally, I am advised to use English editing services before submitting my manuscript to the journal. Recently, I got some bad experiences with the service I am used to using (I will not mention the name of the service here). Hence, I look forward to your advice for the question, what could be the most trusted English editing service from your point of view?

I think that these services are really bad. You need to seek help from academics from the same descpline.

Wordvice Editing Service (https://www.wordvice.com) is highly underrated for academic editing, likely simply because they don't yet have the clout that Editage, AJE or some of the larger editing services have. But they have editors from a LOT of subdisciplines and match your specific paper to an editor with experience in your subject area. And the pricing is not bad either.
