There are conferences that require a size of up to 4 pages. I have met two-page articles (not extended abstracts). Do you think a minimum length of scientific research?
The length of scientific article differ among scientific fields, e.g. papers in sciences are mainly shorter than those in social sciences or in the humanities. Albert Einstein's PhD thesis was at the very beginning evaluated negative by the commission and one of the explanations was that the manuscript is too short. This is very good example that convince us that the quality of the article depends on some internal factors, not on its' length.

Yes, it is a length of introduction in e.g. social science, but in physics or chemistry or...it's quite enough to compare two or three formulas and to create the third and its' great impact. I think that Maxwell's PhD thesis was around 30 pages. And he turn around the whole theory of electromagnetism.
For correct understanding of the matter, it is necessary to enter information for the purposes of the study and expected results, as well as research and comment on the results.
Soon I had to redraw 6-page material to 4. I missed some comments and an explanatory figure. Fortunately, the formatting saved me half-page editing.
The question and the following discussion are very interesting. Scientific articles under four pages are fine if their quality is recognizable and other certain prerequisites are fulfilled, for example, the submission requirements of the relevant journal. I will give an example. The attached published scientific article has three pages (Scientia Horticulturae, Elsevier, impact factor: 1.760, https://www.journals.elsevier.com/scientia-horticulturae).
Writing a scientific article requires explaining the results, expressing another person's opinion objectively, or summarizing a topic. The article should be clear, coherent, and studied so the number of pages does not matter as important as the search.
Khaoula Hidouri, i think it depends on the research field, i have many papers 4 or 5 pages and published in a good conference i will send to u. finally the scientific paper depends on quality not number of pages.
best wishes..

An article merit can not be measured by no of pages . It depends upon the acceptability / citation in a standard Journal , Conference Proceedings , or Preprint .
Abstract contains 150- 250 to 300 words; if abstract can cover the whole thesis and convey some message, if not all, then four pages can be considered good amount of reading, though not explicit....
Papers to deliver during the Conference to four pages usually have the character of a summary of the characterized results of the research carried out. However, a fuller version of the characterized results of the scientific research carried out with a description of the research issues, conditions in which they were carried out, their significance, potential applications, etc. is in an article or chapter written for a monograph, a book published after the conference. However, such a formula of the division of a post-conference study into a paper and an article or a chapter in a scientific monograph is not always practiced. Sometimes the organizers accept only one study of the results of the research, which at the same time serves as a paper for the conference and an article or chapter for post-conference monographs. Then the volume of this type of study is usually oriented to the standard requirements specified for scientific articles, i.e. about half of the publishing sheet.
The length of the manuscript is not as important as the quality. Some journals though are very particular about the word limit per article.Overall a precise, meaningful, and well written article is always appreciated.
The good scientific articles are really not limited by number of pages. It certain disciplines it may be possible to do so but largely pages restrictions are bound to influence quality of presentation.
A good review paper difficult to restrict within four pages. Sometime small note type paper can be done, but that should be a good quality paper. It depends sometime on subject and topic also on which paper is written.
Quality and bulk are not related ......this is for kind information that smallest thesis containing only 27 pages. Good information could be summarize in nut shall and bulky matter create the diversion.
