Transect method of surveying vulture population is very common due perhaps to low cost incurring, although it runs the risk of poor selection of representative samples in varied landscapes, especially inaccessible areas of vulture abode, i.e., deep forests and difficult cliffs. On the other hand total count, although high resource consuming, covers the above sampling risk. What is your view on choosing one of these in your experience or knowledge?
