What is uncertainty analysis, how can we perform uncertainty analysis for photocatalytic reaction. I am checking the effect of different concentration, pH, temperature on dye degradation through nanomaterials. Please let me know the basics and how to do this kind of analysis

Hi there, such analyses can be carried out under what is called parametric sensitivity analysis. Sensitivity Analysis(SA) is the assessment of the variability in one or more outputs caused by the variations in the input factors. There are different approaches for SA. One-at-a-time (OAT) (eg. Morris Method) and variance-based methods (Sobol and Fourier Amplitude Sensitivity Test (FAST)) are quite popular. In OAT approach, one input factor is changed while keeping the other input factors are kept and the variability in the output is measured. While in the variance-based approach, all the input factors are varied together and their respective influence in the output are assessed accordingly. There is a Python library called SALib (https://salib.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) that easily allow such sensitivity analyses. Please have a look at it. Hope it is going to helpful. Cheers!
