I will suggest you use a prestained broad-range molecular weight marker (17- 124 kDa) by sigma. The Molecular weight of the enzyme varies with different strain or variance of the Trametes sp. A search through review article on laccase establish the Mol. weight to be between 60 and 112 kDa.
Hi Noam! we've found two variants: one close to 87 kd and the other one arround 140 kd. I know the 140 one looks too heavy... but it definitely had activity against DMP. Maybe it is a polymer. We used the Pierce Blue Protein Molecular Weight Markers (Thermo Scientific, Rockford, USA) I attach the file in case you want to take a look at the gel.
