What is this aggregated structure?? Is it chitosan-tpp microsphere??

Dear my colleagues, I'm trying to make chitosan micro-sphere(particle) with ion-gelation using TPP.

At some conditions, aggregated structure like attached picture(optical microscope) was formed.

And I have no idea with this.

Is it aggregated chitosan microsphere(particle) or what else?

Dear Kim

I have worked with chitosan, the above picture seems like these are micro particles, for preventing aggregation wash them with de-ionized water before drying. For making smaller particles use needle with low pore size.
