For example, optimum reaction time was 60 min for the synthesis of AgNPs using mangosteen leaf extract to complete the nucleation process and for stability of nanoparticles. But in general it takes 24-72 hours.
I do not think it is possible to predict a process duration when so many ingredients affect it. You should estimate the complation (or steady-state) time experimentally for your specific system. For example you can use UV-Vis spectroscopy by just collecting spectra at scheduled timesteps and see when a specific peak (e.g. a plason peak) intensity reaches a maximum. However, consider that the result often indicates a time when an equilibrium between particles formation and aggregation/precipitation is reached.
