Hello everyone
I have dissolved organic compound in 100% DMSO in high concentration to check its biological activity on cancer cells after diluting it in media. Once it was added to media for dilution then filtration before use, turbidity appears and of course when it was filtered through 0.22 micrometer sterilized filter, it could not pass through filter pore size.
Could you please suggest a method to dissolve it so it will not affect the media composition and I could assess its biological activity precisely.

As per my knowledge If your compound is precipitating out, it means your compound logP is very high and not a molecule for biological testing. You should make your molecule more water soluble by adding some solubilizing group!

You can change your organic compound into corresponding organic salt with better solubility.
The suitable solvent for synthetic organic compound to be checked for biological activity such as ethanol, Dimethyl formamide etc. If compd is insoluble in above two solvents then you can use DMSO , however but one has to use the control of the solvent.
I agree with Neetu Dayal. You may also want to determine the highest compound concentration you can achieve in media without the compound crushing out. That information can help your experimental design.
