Could anyone help to solve my problem? I have recently investigated mesopourous layers of TiO2 on FTO in water electrolytes (just simple, known measuremensts) and I always observed an inductive loop, no matter what kind of solution and TiO2 paste I used (HCl, KCl, phosphate buffer). I couldn't find the answer in the literature. I have Ag/AgCl 1M referecnce electrode and a Platinum Wire as a counter electrode, H-type holder for PEC measurements is used. This is most probably the artifact, I don't observed these loops when I do measurements in solar cells configuration. This is a problem, cause I cannot estimate the Rsc of the semiconductor in this case.

The inductive loop observed below is for about 40 kHz.
