Many of these file are meaningless for the user and for ANSYS internal use only. They are:

.lock - ANSYS lock file which means that the database is already opened and prevents from opening it twice.

If you try to open the .db when it is already opened you will be prompted whether you want to override this lock.

Normally, .lock file is being deleted on .db closing.

.rXXX files are temporary solution files and are to be deleted automatically when solution finishes.

.page - relates to ANSYS memeory allocation.

many of the files mentioned have relation to restart of the analysis. Simply do the search of interesting

file extension in ANSYS help and among listed topics you always find the answer. It relates to the files:

.ESAV or .OSAV - element data at the last step (.esav) or old data (.osav)

.rdb - restart data base. As I know, simply the copy of original database.

All files have their own significance when you are going to apply different physics over the given problem or going to exports the data from one package to the other one.

if you are so curious to know what the particular significance of all the files then i simply suggest that follow the manual all the details of every files are given with extension names.

All files like .fil, .res etc of ANSYS are required as your are performing a "Sequentially Coupled Thermal-Displacment Analysis" or "Thermo-Mechanical Analysis"... One of my papers on Rail wheel is available, if needed you can down load
