It is difficult in my opinion to mention a particular Si/Al ratio range of ZSM-5 type zeolite. I have seen a published paper on ZSM-5 with Si/Al ratio of 45 to infinity. Some of our works have shown even lower Si/Al ratio of 10. Conclusively, the growth configuration or synthesis methods and slowing the release of Al3+ to obtain highly ordered structure is the key interest.
to answer your first question, ZSM-5 - a high silica zeolite - can be synthesized in a wide SiO2/Al2O3-ratio, ranging from typically 25 to 50 (without adding organic templates), and from 25 -1000+ with adding organic templates. Such organic templates are well known, comprising Tetrapropylammoniumbromide, ... ZSM-5 is being synthesized also on large industrial scale. TON is also a high silica zeolite, that to a much lower content is manufactured industrially, its Silica-to-alumina ratio range is less as compared to ZSM-5 types. Typical SiO2/Al2O3 for TON is in the range of 50-100.
there is a bunch of literature, ..please just using literature search in your library or using the internet or using researchgate. On the other hand, you may also have a look at the website of Zeolyst, having references/commercial zeolite powder in such a wide range of silica-to-alumina ratio available. Now my question is what is your intention? Is it to receive samples for analysis R&D, or you like to run certain synthesis experiments, or .. ?
Actually I want the solid evidence of Si/Al range of ZSM-5 and TON. We have an hypothesis that, in a certain range of Si/Al, ZSM-5 or TON cannot be synthesized no matter what kind of template we use, so before we confirm that, we need to know the ratio range of ZSM-5 and TON.
As I explained above, I need solid evidence about the ratio range and I searched from internet. However, I can only get information like in a certain ratio, the authors did synthesis or did reaction and never found a review or paper to explain my question.
So I really confused when you told me "bunch of literature".
And I really hope I could get some advice after I explained my intention.
to my best mind ZSM-5 - without and with known templates - cannot be synthesized with having a SiO2/Al2O3-ratio below approx. 20-24 and having high degree in crystallinity. The higher end mainly is depending on alumina-impurities in the silica source or the equipment being used during crystallization, i.e. having a SiO2/Al2O3-ratio of 1000+ =Silicalite.
