Hi,
I was studying some articles related to IRI and while I have understood the basics, I still can't determine the relation between IRI and the speed of a car. More specifically, given the IRI of a lane, how can the average speed with which a vehicle can travel through a road be determined?
In the equation of IRI, there is a mention of a simulated speed and time derivatives of sprung and unsprung mass. However, being new to this topic, I can't understand the relation.
Any links or articles explaining the relation between the IRI and how can it be used to determine the average speed of a car will be appreciated.
