Dear Researchers, I am trying to dissolve Kevlar in sulfuric acid, DMSO, and DMF, for electrospinning but it does not spinnable at all. Please can you recommend me proper solvent and other spinning parameters?

Kevlar is a highly durable and tough polymer, and its dissolution requires strong, polar solvents that can disrupt the hydrogen bonding and aromatic stacking in the polymer chains. Here are the commonly recommended solvents:
1. N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP)
2. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)
3. Sulfuric Acid (Concentrated)
4. Hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP)
5. Polyphosphoric Acid (PPA)
