What is the Rebar Diameter Distribution (Density Function) Parameters?

Dear all,

I am looking for a reference that considered the rebar diameter as a random variable (e.g. having a normal distribution with standard deviation) in reliability analysis, however, I am not able to find any reference that rebar diameter is a random variable, similar to yield stress, fy, and etc.

Does anybody know any more information?

Look up probability density function. The rebar diameter is the diameter of a steel cylander called rebar Then look the whole thing up in a civil engineering handbook to see how to use it. Best, D. Booth
