I want to verify a hysteresis curve caused by laboratory results by Abaqus software. The slope of this curve varies in loading and unloading. While the simulation results have the same slopes and in the loading state the results are almost close. The difference is the slope of the curve in the unloading mode. what is the reason?

Can you be more specific? What type of exterimental model you are using and what type of material (Metal, Ceramic, Plastic etc) that is made of?

The material is steel.Nonlinear analysis is also enabled in the analysis.

Is there any way to modify the model in Abaqus software?
You are simulating a perfect world - if you want a better fit to your laboratory results, you have to identify all possible real-life imperfections of your test-setup, and either incorporate these effects into your modell ( i f you can identify these effects, that are making your modell more complicated...), or you improve your laboratory-test, trying to eliminate all that nasty real-world-side-effects as good as possible, and repeat it with hopefully better results....
Are you using an elastic-plastic material model with an Isotropic hardening rule? If so then the slope of the simulation results in loading and unloading will stay the same. You need to use another material model that captures the Bauschinger effect in order to simulate cyclic loading of steel (example: kinematic hardening).

I tried Kinematic and combined hardening Separately. But the problem remains.
