Mild pressure feeling in the head, not painful but just very aggravating and feeling really strange. Feeling like having an extreme brain fog and like a fuzzy head/ a constant cloud over the brain.
This may be a resonance migraine ( no headache but very odd sensation, triggered by pulsed signals, viusal, acoustic, microwave or radio frequency. Yoiur description applies to many I have worked with. Flicker from police car = public service vehicles or in a radar beam - Also your subject may live/work in a Tx side lobe. Anne Silk
Only one reason in my opinion -- Meniere Spectrum Disorder, or endolymphatic hydrops, a hyperactive condition of the inner ear due in the first instance to reduced perilymph pressure. As with any other mysterious medical condition, the clue is in the associated symptoms. So, if brain fog were a cortical disorder, there should be associated neurological signs/symptoms.
I confidently predict some otological symptoms, eg audiosensitivity, vertigo, dizziness, nausea, tinnitus, diplacusis, distorted hearing, etc.
"Consider medications (new ones, but also those that can deplete or interrupt natural body processing) and also basic things like too little sleep or not enough fluids (dehydration, including from diuretic medications often prescribed as front-line treatment for hypertension)"
I can confirm that dehydration, low blood pressure and antihypertensive drugs are common causes of hydrops or MSD (see above).
Many reasons for this type of symptom. Find a good neurologist, get an MRI and begin with test all of all your hormones, b12, etc. Good Luck and let us know what your results are.
We have been consulting relevant specialists keeping in line with the valuable responses received here. Prescribed tests including MRI, CT scan etc have not revealed so far any pinpointed specific cause. A number of persons suffering from similar symptoms have been writing to me (viewing this column) to know if our problem was solved. Although the problem has not disappeared totally, a lot of relief has been observed through symptomatic treatments.including some exercises (pressing the head against pressure - up, down, left and right) and tablets tigretal and gabantin. While I have shared our personal experience, the same should not be followed by others without doctor's specific advice.
