I have synthesized reduced graphene oxide(rGO) using Modified Hummer's Method. Then i was characterized the rGO sample using XRD. normally when graphite reduced to graphene there is appearing broad band around 24 degrees. in my diffractogram i can see there is 3 peaks appearing. can anyone tell me what are those and which peak corresponding to what . i attached the relevant XRD spectrums of rGO and graphite.

In X-ray Diffraction Pattern (XRD), graphite shows a characteristic peak at 2θ = 26.7 . After the introduction of oxygen functionalities, the graphitic peak shifts to 2θ = 10.3. rGO shows two peaks: one small peak centered at 2θ = 11.7 and another broad peak at 2θ = 25.8. May be the small peaks are the impurities. You should try to calcinate the particles and take XRD analysis again. Hope my answer will help you. Thank you.
