What is the protocol for preparation of plasmid DNA by alkaline lysis with SDS? (maxi preparation only)

I want protocol only for midiprep or maxiprep, not miniprep. This is actually explained in Molecular Biology: a Laboratory Manual by Sambrook and Russel, but this is not accessible.
