I would like to ask about a correct washing and drying step for glass slide array experiment without the washing/hybridisation station from company.

Washing:

Is that as simple as using pipet to wash or any other ways? I suppose that my problem is the washing step (prehybridization or posthybridization), because the results after fluorescence scan were inconsistent (Fluorescence sometime remained and sometime disappeared).

Drying (Pre-hybridization):

In my experiment, there are multi-steps of hybridization. It is said to avoid the drying out between steps, how I could do it correctly? After washing by washing buffer then let the surface dry naturally or use centrifuge (using centrifuge definitely dries out the surface, and suitable for the final drying only, I think).

I have tried several ways but still got inconsistent results. Hope to have your opinions on this soon.

Thank you very much ~
