The prevalence of a new concept or a re-incarnation of an old concept that comes in the form of low touch world, low touch economy or low touch business is increasing, at least on the worldwide web. The big question is whether this phenomenon is increasing in prevalence in real life or not.
It is a fairly "newish concept," as such, its properties are not that clearly defined. Regardless though, a vital concept, "low touch markets" is missing from the "low touch" menu.
Three questions for you:-
Based on what you know or what comes to mind, what do you believe to be the "unique identifiers" of this low touch phenomenon?
Lastly, what is the prevalence of this phenomenon where you live or work on a scale of 1 - 5, where 1 denotes low and 5 high prevalence?
Do you think there is merit in "throwing" low touch markets into the mix?
