What is the power of dN/dS method to be used for prediction of resistant-associated mutations in M. tuberculosis strains?

I believe it is strongly depends on context to which dN/dS method is applied. Method itself tells nothing about mutations be resistant-associated or not, but in a right context and with support from other data sources it is the good place to look.
