It is said that, unless specified, restriction enzymes should be stored in -20 and storing in -80 will spoil the enzymes. Why is that so?
Aren't restriction enzymes stored in glycerol to protect it from freezing in -20?
Propably this is the reason why they will spoil when frozen in -80. I think so.
