I want to use a lipase from Candida rugosa as part of a histology procedure.

Would the lipase function in PBS pH 7.5 at 37C?

Would the lipase function in the presence of 8% Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS)?

There are a lof of papers that point to several optimal pHs ranging from 6.5-8.5, different buffers and temperatures. I would like to keep using a simple PBS, but I am curious if the lipase would function in the presence of the detergent SDS, or if they would have an additive effect and improve the fat breakdown.
