Each part has its own importance. The results can not be reached without testing the hypotheses. You can not reach to conclusions without results. The conclusion remains the most important part. Because we reached it after a long research
I think it is more than just comparing your results with others. You have to explain the real meaning of your results in the specific circumstances of your research ans see if they correspond to other research. Out of that you csn drawconclusions.
All parts of a research is important, but I believe that conclusion is the most important part to be mentioned in the discussion section of a research.
What is the most important part to be mentioned in the discussion section of a research?
Following can be important parts of the discussion section of a research paper:
Rationalization of your empirical evidence / result findings with the conceptual framework / research model you'd developed.
When provide above rationalization - should you decide to rationalize based on logical reasoning, further literature review etc.? If to cite further literature review, how you justify why you missed this piece of literature during earlier literature review?
Comparisons between the current result findings with other previous research findings & provide appropriate justifications.
Your current research contribution & implication to research community.
Based on your empirical evidence, how your research is meeting your research objective(s) and answering your research question(s).
I think in discussing your results, you need to bring out the relationship between your results and those of other scientists working or who worked in the same topic. You also need to lay emphasis on the new thing you brought into light in your work.
Comparing your results with others (similar or different results), provide interpretations for your results in comparison to others, and draw a conclusion.
Each part has its own importance. The results can not be reached without testing the hypotheses. You can not reach to conclusions without results. The conclusion remains the most important part. Because we reached it after a long research
