Currently the recycling rate in Brazil is 51% according to ABIPET. The recycled material is used in manufacture of blankets, sweatshirts, clothes, brooms, buckets, water boxes, pipes and fittings, among other products. Attached is the annual balance sheet of ABIPET.

Most of PET used for water and drinking bottles in my country. After collecting they recycle and used to produce polyester fiber (not all of them but most of them).

In the Czech Republic PET bottles are recycled and for production of polyester fibers are utilized.

In Pakistan, the recycled PET bottles are used for bottling soft drinks and water. Also, a fraction of PET waste is recycled to make “ PET yarn” which is used in clothes, carpet and packaging materials.
