My concern is about Energy Efficiency Model for WBANs. In a wide sense, I'm looking for ways to model the whole network in terms of power and energy.
How much average power is required to keep an IoT sensor and its aggregate communication devices operational for long periods (energized throughout its life cycle inside a network)?
What is the energy level to maintain an autonomous system for years of operation in a near-body power harvesting context for WBANs?

Considering that a system needs the power to fulfill its purposes, such as data collection (sensors), processing, and communication itself. I believe it would be interesting to get the energy budget between production and consumption, to effectively operate during long periods.
I am doing research focused on Impulse Radio using Ultra-wideband for Wireless Body Area Networks. I am checking in this community if there is anybody that knows something about this topic. Especially related to the Power/Energy of the hardware for these such kinds of WSN to compose a model.
