Hi,

I'm working with human retinal pigmented epithelium cells and I'm wondering if anyone working with these cell lines has ever drawn a killing curve with G418 antibiotic?

I came across with the minimum concentration of 0.4 mg/ml to kill over 90% of these cells. However, I observed this effect within 10 days.

Within 4 days this number changed to 0.8 mg/ml.

Which one do I need to choose if I'm applying a selection marker?

Thanks in advance for any help.
